Building an Art Computer

When the time came to buy a new art computer, I decided to build it myself.
Here it is...

... sorta...
PARTS:
Motherboard: ASUS z97-e ATX LGA-1150
Power Supply: Corsair CX Series, CX600M
Processor: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.40 GHz
Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD
& Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB
Case: Corsair Carbide Series Black 500R
(I have no idea what the 500R stands for)

My old computer being taken apart to salvage some parts.

Inside of the new machine

Did I mention the GTX-970 Graphics Card?
(*sniff* so beautiful...)

I learned a lot working on this machine...

... like always have your computer guy with you while you do it.

about 2 months, $1300, and infinite frustrations later, here it is!

Look at the size compared to my old computer.

Works like a dream :)

I think I'll call it: "COMPY"
